JITR operates as a commercial intermediary between businesses and workers.
Businesses contract with JITR for the provision of services related to short-term shift coverage. Workers provide services to JITR on a per-shift basis as independent contractors.
Workers are not employees of JITR. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment relationship, partnership, or agency between JITR and any worker.
Businesses are responsible for:
- Defining shift requirements and job descriptions
- Providing safe and lawful working conditions
- Ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations at the workplace
Workers are responsible for:
- Attending accepted shifts as agreed
- Performing work in a professional manner consistent with the shift description
- Maintaining any registrations, licenses, or documentation required to operate as an independent contractor
- Declaring and paying all applicable taxes, fees, and social contributions related to compensation received through JITR
